Porcelain Veneers

Cosmetic dentistry is a life-changing experience for many patients who have been debilitated by an unaesthetic smile. Veneers are an amazing, long-lasting cosmetic treatment option for patients interested in enhancing the shape, look, and color of their smile. These thin shells are crafted from tooth-colored materials and designed to cosmetically cover the front side of broken, chipped, worn, discolored teeth. To ensure the best possible results, veneer makeovers at integratedDENTAL are custom-made at our on-site laboratory to meet all our patient-specific treatment goals. They provide incredible, natural, aesthetic results so our patients can leave smiling confidently like never before.

The team at integratedDENTAL are highly skilled in the field of cosmetic dentistry and offers the most comprehensive smile makeovers. Drs. Alan and Barbara Jurim go to great lengths to study each patient’s individual presentation and determine the best way to meet their cosmetic goals. Adrian Jurim, MDT, is the master dental ceramist at our on-site lab. Adrian’s contribution to the field of cosmetic dentistry is unmatched as he is the inventor and patent holder of the etched porcelain laminate veneer concept. Working together, the Jurim team provide cosmetic makeovers that are truly something to smile about!

The Smile Makeover Process

Visit 1– Patients considering a cosmetic smile makeover at integratedDENTAL will first undergo a diagnostic cosmetic case work-up. This involves digital intraoral impressions and a series of diagnostic digital pictures that will be used to digitally assess and design the cosmetic enhancements that would best achieve each individual’s personal aesthetic goals. Often we can complete a mockup of your proposed new smile for you to preview results before moving forward.

Visit 2– Should you chose to proceed with the smile makeover, the next visit will involve preparing your teeth for the veneers and making a digital impression. Digital impressions are more accurate and avoid the need for ill-tasting, slimy impression material. You will leave our office with a set of temporary veneers for you to “test-drive” your new smile. After a few days with your new temporary smile, you will let us know if any further tweaking is desired. Once you are happy with your temporary veneers, our doctors will work with our on-site lab to manufacture a consistent, gorgeous smile.

Visit 3– The last visit will involve trying in your veneers and once the doctors have confirmed they fit correctly and you approve the aesthetics and shade, the veneers will be bonded into place. You will leave with the beautiful smile you have always dreamed of- smile confidently, eat comfortably, live life to the fullest knowing you look your best!

How to Care for Your Veneers

You brush and floss your veneer smile makeover in the same manner as you would your natural teeth. Making sure to wear a nightguard to prevent chipping and fractures, and returning for regularly prescribed hygiene visits and dental exams will ensure the longest survival of your new, gorgeous smile.
