Dr. Alan Jurim focuses his time on his private dental practice, his dental lab, and teaching. His office, integratedDENTAL, has been featured as the model for innovative digital treatments by Henry Schein’s Sidekick Magazine. Dr. Alan personally oversees all CAD/CAM production at Jurim Dental Studio, his cutting-edge dental laboratory. His strong clinical, engineering, and laboratory credentials afford him a unique skillset to provide helpful one-on-one counseling for other dentists on how to integrate state-of-the-art CAD/CAM techniques into their practice. Dr. Alan is also highly committed to teaching the practice of digital dentistry to his colleagues. He is the Director of Digital Dentistry at Touro College of Dental Medicine and has founded the CADpro Academy to further this goal.
Dr. Alan Jurim received his dual degree in Computer Systems Engineering and Electrical Engineering from the prestigious Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute prior to graduating from New York University’s College of Dentistry and North Shore University Hospital’s general practice residency. Dr. Alan Jurim is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Society for Dental Aesthetics. Dr. Alan is a highly sought-out speaker lecturing internationally on digital photography, digital dentistry, CAD/CAM technologies, cosmetic case planning, and complex reconstructive dental treatments. He is a pioneer in digital dentistry, and as such serves as a key opinion leader at Henry Schein and on the global advisory board for 3Shape.
At the dental school, Dr. Alan is responsible for new product and systems developments, including launching a new cloud based electronic health record platform, integrating the latest digital dentistry technology, and leading an overhaul of the dental curriculum.
