Why choose us? We use modern digital dental technology to design and craft the perfect dental veneers to complete your smile. Digital scanning has been shown to be much more precise and accurate than traditional dental procedures so the final results are much better fitting. When you come to IntegratedDENTAL you can feel safe knowing your are getting the best treatment available.
A dental veneer is a porcelain shell that fits over a damaged, discolored, misshaped, and/or misaligned tooth to enhance its aesthetics, form, and function.
Each porcelain veneer is specially crafted out of a strong, lifelike ceramic to fit the shape of one specific tooth, and then it is bonded to the tooth to ensure a long-term cosmetic improvement.
Our team at integratedDENTAL uses them to augment teeth that are misaligned, uneven, cracked, chipped, worn, and/or stained. Veneers resist discoloration incredibly well, and they also increase the chewing power and endurance to the point that the augmented tooth resembles a natural one.
We also use veneers for cosmetics, to assist patients who want to improve the appearance of their smiles. People with spaces and/or stains have a lot to gain from dental veneer treatment. However, veneers are irremovable once they’re placed, so make sure you understand the process before you commit to this form of treatment.
If you schedule a consultation, your specialist at integratedDENTAL will ask you questions to determine whether this is the best treatment option for you, and determine if another one such as crowns, inlays, onlays, or cosmetic bonding would work better.
In most cases, a veneer treatment will take two to three visits to our office. The first step involves taking digital scans and photographs so we can complete a virtual smile makeover to ensure the doctor understands your aesthetic treatment goals and knows the desired shape and shade of your smile makeover.
In some instances, for those patients who need to see firsthand what their smile could look like, we can perform an intraoral mockup where we mimic what the final veneers would look like before any irreversible treatment is rendered.
Once the patient is ready to proceed, the next visit involves conservative preparation of the enamel to make room for the veneer after which a digital mold is made and sent to the lab. You will leave this visit with a temporary veneer(s) which serve as a prototype for the final veneer(s) to evaluate the aesthetics and function of the new teeth. We ask that you “test drive” this smile and if any changes are desired we will make them before the final veneers are manufactured to ensure your final smile makeover is exactly how you want it.
Once your veneer(s) been custom manufactured in the laboratory, we will remove the temporary veneer(s) and bond the veneer(s) to your teeth and polish them, taking great care to clean any extra cement. We will have you return in 2 weeks for a follow-up appointment to examine your veneer(s) to make sure your results have the proper level of comfort and function.
The last step is to make a final mold which will be used to manufacture a night guard which you will be required to wear to protect the investment you just made in your smile.
